Food-Grade Honey Bottling Pails, Settling Tanks & Strainers
Once your golden honey leaves the extractor, proper settling and hygienic bottling preserve its natural enzymes, clarity, and shelf appeal. Our bottling tanks and valved buckets allow tiny air bubbles and fine wax specks to float naturally to the surface so you jar crystal-clear, export-grade honey every time.
Clean, Drip-Free Honey Conditioning & Packaging
• Stainless Steel & Food-Grade HDPE Settling Tanks: Equipped with heavy-duty brass or nylon shear-action honey gates positioned right at the base for effortless filling of 250g, 500g, and 1kg jars.
• Double-Stage Stainless Steel & Fine Micron Nylon Sieves: Extendable arms sit securely across 20L buckets or 100kg settling drums to catch coarse wax in the upper basket and fine pollen/wax debris in the lower mesh.
• Refractometers & Uncapping Tubs: Precision handheld honey refractometers (12%–27% water scale) so you verify moisture content is below 18.5% before sealing a single jar for market.
Important: Always allow freshly extracted honey to settle in a covered bottling tank for 24 to 48 hours in a warm room before jarring to eliminate foam crowns at the top of your bottles.
Q: Why do I need a honey refractometer before bottling in Nigeria?
A: High tropical humidity during the rainy harvest season can raise honey moisture above 19%, risking fermentation. Checking your frames with a refractometer ensures you only harvest fully ripened, shelf-stable honey.
Q: Are your plastic bottling buckets certified food-grade?
A: Every plastic bottling pail we supply is virgin BPA-free, food-grade high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fitted with a leak-proof silicone-gasketed honey gate and tight-sealing lid.
