Important: Always use braided square cotton wicks slightly larger than standard paraffin wicks when pouring 100% beeswax so the wick draws the thicker molten beeswax steadily.

Q: Why did my poured beeswax candle crack down the center as it cooled?
A: Beeswax shrinks slightly as it cools. To prevent surface cracks or sinkholes, warm your silicone mold slightly before pouring, pour at around 70°C, and wrap a towel around the mold so the candle cools slowly and evenly from the bottom up.
