Standardized Langstroth Hive Components

• 10-Frame Deep Brood Boxes & Medium Honey Supers: Precision finger-jointed or rabbeted 22mm thick timber boxes with recessed hand holds and durable exterior weather protection.

• Screened & Solid Bottom Boards with Entrance Reducers: Heavy-duty reversible floors that promote hive ventilation during hot dry seasons and help control small hive beetles and varroa mites.

• Galvanized & Aluminum-Clad Telescoping Roofs, Inner Covers & Queen Excluders: Waterproof metal-capped hive lids, ventilated inner covers, and precision-spaced wire/plastic queen excluders that keep brood out of your honey supers.

Important: Paint only the outside surfaces of your wooden hive bodies, bottom boards, and roofs with two coats of low-VOC exterior water-based paint or hot beeswax dip—leave the interior wood completely natural for the bees to coat with antimicrobial propolis.
